La “qubba” de Abū l-Ḥasan es uno de los edificios clave del programa llevado a cabo por este sultán para ampliar y monumentalizar la necrópolis dinástica de Šālla, complejo funerario y religioso establecido por etapas a las puertas de Rabat casi medio siglo antes. El refinamiento y el rigor de su ornamentación hacen de ella un hito de la arquitectura islámica occidental. Hemos emprendido su análisis desde varios puntos de vista: formal, geométrico, constructivo y decorativo. Se aporta una novedosa y detallada planimetría de elaboración propia, que sirve de base al estudio.
